POST EVENT REVIEW - Despite the heavy overnight rain, ground conditions were not too bad for walking. The weather was cool, dry with sunny intervals - a perfect day for an autumn walk with some colourful foliage remaining. A big thank you to Celine, Chris and all the other staff who dealt with 30 diners very efficently and most politely. Everyone was eating within 20 minutes of our return.

POST EVENT REVIEW - Another colourful autumn walk on a rather grey day. Despite some recent heavy rain, ground conditions were only muddy in places with the fallen leaves helping to absorb surplus ground water. Many thanks to all who attended this picturesque woodland walk and a big thank you to Angie and Phil at The Kings Head Inn and Tony and Jenny at The Royal Oak for lunch and refreshments.

NOTE THIS IS ONE OF FIVE DIFFERENT "GO" ROUTES FROM THIS PUB.

POST EVENT REVIEW - A mixture of bright spells with some light snow showers and cold. The landscape on this walk seems to be progressing more to rolling meadows , where once it was mostly arable fields. The net result is a more scenic route all round.
Thank you to the small but very hardy group of walkers who supported this event. Thanks also to the staff at The Fox Inn for some very welcome hot food.
