EVENING WALK
Meet and park 6.55pm at "The Ship Inn", Levington. Please use the lower car park at the pub. there will be no need to pre-order food. Pub post code IP10 0LQ.

POST EVENT REVIEW - A warm, dry, perfect summer evening. The Nacton Meadow route was sufficiently dry to allow access through to Decoy Cottage, although a few people were unfortunate to miss a partly submerged plank resulting in wet feet. It would seem that the Levington footpath warden does need to be contacted regarding this section of the walk. Otherwise, the woodland and shore-line sections were just superb. Many thanks to all who supported this walk and to the staff at The Ship Inn, Levington for some delicious food.

The shore-line section was just magnificent, we paused (SEE PICTURE) by old fallen trees to just soak up the sunshine and river air. Our route also featured a pretty section by a stream and finally by Alton Water Reservoir - perfect day!. Thanks to Rick, Jayne and staff at The Compasses for some great food.
