POST EVENT REVIEW Mostly sunny and quite breezy but it did stay dry throughout the walk. Conditions were muddy in places owing to the heavy rain which fell on Friday. Most enjoyable walk with excellent views across the River Stour. Some very good food and excellent real ales at The Red Lion. This friendly Freehouse really feels like a village pub now. Many thanks to newcomers Sharon, Ian and staff for making our visit such an enjoyable one. We'll be back!

POST EVENT REVIEW - What a wonderful day! The weather could not have been better - warm, sunny and dry with a light wind. Although the food was good and the beer in excellent condition at this pub, the serving staff were not as organised as they could have been, resulting in some delays upon our return.
