POST EVENT REVIEW The season of GO Summer Evening walks has once again come to a conclusion. I am sure those that did not attend for fear of a drenching would hardly imagined that barely a drop of rain fell during the course of this walk. Torrential rain was reported close by and the sound of thunder was never far away which added to the atmosphere. This walk, often chosen as an evening walk finale, never fails to impress with glorious scenes across the River Orwell. A new season of evening walks begins in May 2009.

POST EVENT REVIEW A beautiful day for walking in the countryside. Pleasantly warm, dry and sunny. Our food hosts were the hard-working "staff" at Crowfield Church. An endless supply of bacon baps, soup and an incredible variety of tasty cakes with lashings of hot tea and coffee. Many thanks to all you kind, hard-working people of Crowfield for helping to make our day so enjoyable. On the floral front, there were many plants for sale and the floral displays in the church were very imaginative and stunningly beautiful. Congratulations to all the talented Crowfield folk and your very late night on Friday, 2pm I believe, was definitely not in vain. GO Walkers will return next year. Thanks again.
