CLOSING DATE FOR BOOKING AND TICKET PURCHASE IS 20th SEPTEMBER.
There is no car park at the pub but there are Pay and Display car parks close to the station. Pre-order food 9.30am at "The Anchor Inn", Woodbridge. Meeting 10.00am on platform 2, Woodbridge Railway Station to catch 10.07am service, arriving Westerfield at 10.18am where the walk commences. This route joins the beautiful Fynn Valley walk at Tuddenham. From here there are stunning views across the valley as we make our way to passing through some of the finest meadows in Suffolk and never far away from the River Fynn. We pause exactly half way at "The Admirals Head", Little Bealings for refreshments before continuing on to join the Deben at Martlesham Creek. The remainder of the route stays with the Deben as we return to Woodbridge to arrive at the pub for lunch at approximately 2.15pm. Pub post code is IP12 1BX.

POST EVENT REVIEW Many favourable comments about this most beautiful walk. A great day to be out. Stayed dry but a following wind gained in stength as we approached Woodbridge. Thank you walkers for helping to make it a thoroughly enjoyable experience. Thanks too to Vernon and staff at The Anchor in Woodbridge for providing some very tasty nosh and good beer. We shall return!

Meet and park 10.10am to pre-order food at "The Kings Head Inn", East Bergholt. This quite stunning meadow route visits Willy Lott's cottage, the Mills of Flatford and Dedham with long sections by the River Stour, deep in the heart of the most famous Constable landscape. Returning to the pub for lunch at approximatelu 1.15pm. Pub post code is CO7 6TL.
POST EVENT REVIEW - Another absolutely wonderful day, brilliant sunshine with temperature in the high teens. Is this really October? Conditions on this walk were just perfect. Food at the pub was superb and served promptly. The real ales were in very good condition. Many thanks to all who supported the walk and a big thank you to Phil, Angie and staff for making the day complete. See you again on 8th November.

Meet and park 10.10am to pre-order food at "The Punch Bowl", Freehouse, Battisford. Pub now featuring ales from micro breweries and food using locally sourced produce. Note: pub is 3miles from parish boundary if you are driving from B1078. Walk features mixture of open countryside, green lanes and meadows. Returning to the pub for lunch at approximately 12.30pm. Pub post code is IP14 2LQ.

POST EVENT REVIEW - Yet another fairly warm, dry and sunny day. Perfect conditions for a walk. Thankyou to all who attended today for helping to make this an enjoyable morning out. Many thanks too to Kevin and Jean for the very tasty food and selection of real ales. We shall most definitely return.

Walk re-scheduled from Saturday, 9th February 2008.
Meet and park 9.55am to pre-order food at "The Greyhound", public house, Flempton. A fabulous route includes Culford Park with its majestic display of Wellingtonia trees towering high above the park. Later passing through the King's Forest and finally by the River Lark. Returning to the pub for lunch at approximately 1.15pm. Pub post code is IP28 6EL.

POST EVENT REVIEW - Another glorious day of fine weather. Autumn colours really adding to the superb visual display on this walk. Many thanks to Robert, Maggie and staff at The Greyhound for providing a good selection of very tasty food and for serving promptly upon our return. I can especially recommend the Beef Curry with rice. We'll be back!
