Lakes_2007 English Lake District Holiday, 19th-23rd May 2007 In 2007, we managed with a spell of perfect weather - what's going on? So not only did we have the usual spread of wholesome home-cooked food at Seatoller Guest House but all three walks were successfully accomplished in warm, dry and sunny conditions - a first in Cumbria for "GO" walking! I would like to thank all sixteen persons taking part in this year's holiday - you were a great bunch of people to be with and even though the walking was challenging at times, especially the sprint for the bus! I don't remember hearing any protests - well done everyone. I hope you feel that sense of personal achievement too.
