Sat.7th Feb update...MANY THANKS TO THOSE WHO HAVE ALREADY GENEROUSLY DONATED TO THIS EVENT BUT ARE UNABLE TO ATTEND THE WALK.

POST EVENT REVIEW - Yet another day of wondefully sunny and dry weather, making this very special day one to remember. A very big thank you to everyone who supported this walk and to those that contributed but were unable to attend. Thanks also to Jerry and Jackie whose card and cake sales significantly boosted the total amount raised on the day. I think there maybe a donation or two to come in but for this walk, so far, £282.00 has been raised for Macmillan Cancer Support, exceeding expectations by more than £100.00. Once again thank you all for your kindness, support and generosity.
Well done Liz, Pat and staff at the pub for serving us with some great food. We will be back!

POST EVENT REVIEW - The weather was dry and sunny for the majority of this walk. There was also a feeling of Spring in the air as temperatures climbed to double figures. The dry conditions of the past few days has rendered the route dry in most places. Many thanks to Bob, Chris and family for some really good food - the Beef Curry was awesome!. See you again later in the year.
