ENGLISH LAKE DISTRICT HOLIDAY, 31st May - 4th June 2009 GETTING OUT RETURNS FROM ANOTHER GREAT LAKELAND HOLIDAY Getting Out has returned from its finest holiday yet in the English Lakes. An amazing hot, dry spell of weather with excellent visibility gave the back-drop for a most enjoyable holiday in this beautiful part of England. The usual mix of high, mid and low level walks provided a variation of stunning Lakeland scenery. This year a trip on the Keswick Launch was also included in the itinerary for one of the walks. This gave us all an opportunity to enjoy the cooling Lake breezes during the hot spell of weather. Our walking activities were sustained once again by plentiful, nourishing cuisine at our base, Seatoller Guest House. Many thanks to Lynne, Daniel and staff for making our stay with you both very enjoyable and comfortable. Plans have already begun for areturn to the Lakes during May 2010. It is hoped that this information and booking forms should be available during the autumn of 2009.
